It is a “Tech” blog but any coder sometimes plays computer games, or even more than sometimes That’s the point, I’ve bought Silent Storm recently and this is I’ve been missing all the time, great turn-based strategy set in WW2.
Suppose you stand on stairs and apparently a grenade bounces through the window. After a while big part of first floor falls to the cellar killing some of your troops. At the other side a sniper who shoot through wooden door. The bullet hit your medic standing at the other side then he performs a “ragdoll” and falls out the window. This is Silent Storm, great physics, realistic weapons and gameplay. This game is a “must play” for anyone who enjoyed Jagger Alliance or Fallout Tactics.
