Today I finally got the book – Mathematics for 3D Game Programming & Computer Graphics

Yes, I’ve just upgraded my Slackware to the newest version – it works fine and without problems. I had to deal with some new configs and old packages but it’s the normal routine and everything is described in the docs. Also had to reinstall graphics drivers because of the new kernel. System boots without errors, no kernel panics and oopses. I like it

Two days ago Patrick Volkerding announced that our favourite Linux distro was released

As usual it contains the 2.4 Kernel as it’s base (2.4.33.3 to be precise). Also 2.6.17.13 is in /extra. Quite interesting is the fact that this release is really cutting edge – KDE 3.5.4, latest Firefox and Thunderbird, Vim 7.0
I’m downloading it right now and will look at it closely in the evening.
